If you remain loyal to Muhammad we are yours
A man is made selfish in nature who always look into to his benefits before doing anything -whether it be working, dealing etc. He applies the same rule when it comes to loving, being friend or being loyal to someone. He maybe loyal to someone because of kinship or because of some man made ideologies such as nationalism ,tribalism etc ,which we are taught to pay respect and glorify since childhood . It is quiet normal for an ordinary person to be loyal to someone on these basis but what about a muwahid? A muwahid whose life is for the sake of Allah ,in the path of Allah. He who beliefs – Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah , Lord of the worlds.( Al Quran ) . Is it fine for for a muwahid who tries to seek the pleasure of Allah to be loyal to someone on this worldly basis ?
As the topic says” if you remain loyal to Muhammad we are yours. Let’s just try to understand what does being loyal to Muhammad means and why should we love a person who loves Mohammed. Muslim has a belief of loving someone for the sake of Allah loving someone who loves Allah and whom Allah loves. Someone who bring him closer to Allah and his Deen and help him in this Duniya. And then he becomes loyal to him. So how about being loyal to someome who is loyal to the Prophet ? Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (Al Quran ) Allah’s messenger arrival on earth is very similar to falling of rain in a time of drought. Practical image of Islam as narrated by Hazrat Ayesha. One who taught us the way to please Allah He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah ; but those who turn away – We have not sent you over them as a guardian. (Al Quran) the one who is praised by Allah in the Quran. There is no way that one can get to know Islam without knowing Muhammad- his guidance, work, instruction and prohibitions. If a Muslim really love Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam he will definitely be loyal to his followers and is worth being loyal to.
Being characterstics of someone who is loyal to Muhammad can be seen from Quran and Sunnah .
And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. (Al Quran) a person to whom you show your loyalty should follow the Muhammad in his aim , his goal , his missions his sunnahs , listen to his commands and avoid what he prohibited. The way he worked actively for propagating islam yet living in simplicity , caring for his companions and helping in household work. Obeying him to the extended that changing all his life according to his commands and love doing it . Revolving one’s life around those commands.
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.(Al Quran ) The one who follow his mission and continue it. The mission in which there is no doubt. Mission of bringing people from the slavery of an oppresser to the slavery of Allah -The Almighty. Even though many Muslims doubt this belief but even the non Muslims of Prophet’s time understood his mission . For example, a man name Bayhara, chief of Banu Amir Clan , was so impressed by his mission and his mind foresaw the bright future of islam and so he try to strike a bargain. He offered to co-operate with the prophet on the condition that when the prophet will gain victory over the arab and the non- arab than he would transfer his power into his( Bayhara’s) hand to which the prophet plainly refuse. Even the people of Quraish used to taunt him for dreaming about becoming a leader of the arab and non arab .It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it. (Al Quran).
The Muslim’s faith cannot be complete unless he loves the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and until the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is dearer to him than his father, his son, his own self and all the people.
It was narrated that Anas said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No one of you truly believes until I am dearer to him than his father, his son, his own self and all the people.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 15; Muslim, 44.
Who is ready to give his life for the sake of Prophet Muhammad just like Hazrat Zaid Bin Haris stood behind the prophet on the day of Taif when people were throwing stones at him. Or like hazrat Zubair who when heard that someone has kill the prophet unsheathed his sword to take the revenge. The point to be noted is that that he did so in his young age when islam had not spread widely and Muslim used to meet secretly . The love of the prophet is so deep that just as a person is ready to give his life for his sake, he also has the courage to take someone’s life for Muhammad sake . A loyal Muslim is not afraid to take someone’s life who insult or say something wrongful about the Prophet Muhammad. Moreover when it it is obligatory to do that. Just like Mohammad Ibn Maslamah killed Ka’b bin Ashraf because his speaks poetry against Allah and his prophet.
Once Umar ibn al-Khattaab said to him: “O Messenger of Allaah, you are dearer to me than everything except my own self.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, not until I am dearer to you than your own self.”
‘Umar said to him: “Now, by Allaah, you are dearer to me than my own self.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Now (you are a true believer), O ‘Umar.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6257.
Muslim who is loyal to him ,will definitely be loyal to the one who is on the same mission as him. And such a person is worthy of being loyal to .
